Bridge the Gap Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting transitioning foster youth and justice-involved young people as they build independent, fulfilling lives.

Every Young Person Deserves a Second Chance

Common Questions & Answers

Young adults ages 18-25 who are transitioning from foster care or reentering communities after juvenile detention or incarceration. We serve individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability status.

No. All Bridge the Gap Foundation services are provided free of charge to participants. Our programs are funded through grants, donations, and community partnerships.

Program length varies based on individual needs and goals. Some services are short-term (workshops, assessments) while others provide ongoing support (case management, mental health services). We work with you as long as you need us.

Absolutely! Our integrated model encourages participation across multiple service areas. Many participants engage in Workforce Development AND Mental Health Support AND Financial Literacy simultaneously. Your case manager helps coordinate services.

Yes. All mental health services are strictly confidential and comply with HIPAA regulations. Information is only shared with your written consent (except in rare cases of imminent danger).
