Financial Literacy

Our Financial Literacy program provides comprehensive money management education and practical financial skills development, empowering young people to achieve financial stability and independence. We cover everything from basic banking to credit building, helping participants develop healthy financial habits that last a lifetime.

Information Technology Services

Our Information Technology Services program provides access to technology resources and digital skills training essential for success in education, employment, and daily life. We bridge the digital divide by providing devices, connectivity, and comprehensive training—from basic computer literacy to advanced coding and IT certification preparation.

Mental Health Support

We recognize that emotional wellness is foundational to success in all areas of life. Our trauma-informed mental health services provide safe, confidential support tailored to the unique experiences of foster youth and justice-involved young people. We honor each individual's journey, promote healing from past trauma, and build resilience for the future.

Mentorships

Bridge the Gap Foundation offers structured mentorship for young people ages 12–21, creating safe, supportive relationships where they feel seen, heard, and valued. Young adults ages 18-25 who are transitioning from foster care or reentering communities after juvenile detention or incarceration. We serve individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability status.

No. All Bridge the Gap Foundation services are provided free of charge to participants. Our programs are funded through grants, donations, and community partnerships.

Program length varies based on individual needs and goals. Some services are short-term (workshops, assessments) while others provide ongoing support (case management, mental health services). We work with you as long as you need us.

Absolutely! Our integrated model encourages participation across multiple service areas. Many participants engage in Workforce Development AND Mental Health Support AND Financial Literacy simultaneously. Your case manager helps coordinate services.

Yes. All mental health services are strictly confidential and comply with HIPAA regulations. Information is only shared with your written consent (except in rare cases of imminent danger).
